We’re passionate about helping you remove barriers and create supports
Meet Tabitha
Tabitha initially followed traditional compliance-based methods in education, employing reward systems and social-emotional learning (SEL) curricula that taught students to conform to their neurotypical peers. A transformative shift occurred when she delved into the intersection of neuroscience with teaching and learning. Tabitha serves on the executive board of Neural Education where she continues to explore the latest educational neuroscience research and delivers professional development to educators. After earning an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, Tabitha served as a Student Services Director, allowing her to bring educational neuroscience and neurodiversity-affirming principles to more environments. Tabitha is passionate about removing barriers and developing robust support systems tailored to meet individual needs- prioritizing autonomy, self-efficacy, and inclusive environments.
Meet Joanna
Joanna brings extensive experience in education and disability advocacy, having worked across various settings, including in-home, non-profits, and schools. Through her diverse experiences, she has recognized that genuine inclusion requires a shift in mindsets around disability. As an advocate for the neurodiversity paradigm, Joanna recognizes the need for a more nuanced discussion where those most marginalized are centered. She was able to bring these principles to her role as an Inclusive Education Specialist to remove barriers and find the right level of supports for students with disabilities. Joanna enjoys collaborating with teams to co-create environments that center accessibility and inclusivity.
